Following a suggestion by Bob Faulkner who constructed a cardboard
illustration of Euclid's "roof construction" of a regular dodecahedron I
prepared a computer animation.
Although no special aspects of raytracing are needed, I found PovRay
very suited.
The AVI-file can also be viewed using windows incorporated media player.
Continuous playing gives the best effects.
Other animations (animated gif-files) concerning polyhedra can be found
on my website.
